Annual Party 2024 – Together the constant commitment of volunteers for Florence

Florence, 26.9.2024 – “Every city has its heart, its beauty, and Florence has a special soul, made of monuments and history, art and culture but also of the people who take care of the city every day, with passion, commitment and love, with small gestures…”
To celebrate the fourteenth year of activity of the Angeli del Bello, the Florentine Foundation committed to the care of beauty, the promotion of the rediscovery of civic sense, and the education of younger generations, the appointment for everyone is Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September at the Casa del Bello, in Via Pisana 2, in the Gasometro Park (entrance Porta San Frediano).
Events and initiatives of various kinds are planned in the rich program where moments of reflection on urban redevelopment are accompanied by musical trips, guided tours to discover the riches of the Tuscan capital, creative workshops for the little ones and the usual “CamminPulendo” of Dantean memory.
All events – organized in collaboration with Centro Associazioni Culturali Fiorentine, CCN Piazza Pier Vettori e dintorni, Maestri del Lavoro, Consulate of Florence, Parco Gasometro, Quartiere 4, UNESCO Office of the Municipality of Florence, Mus.E – are free to enter; only for guided tours is it necessary to book by sending an email to: info@angelidelbello.org.

The Foundation, founded in 2010 to promote active citizen participation in the care of common goods and civic education through concrete urban volunteering initiatives aimed at improving the decorum and beauty of Florence, currently has over 3.500 volunteers. In Florence, with 240.000 hours of volunteering, 190 projects carried out by approximately 300 volunteers active every week, Angeli del Bello They are actively engaged in improving cities through urban regeneration, encouraging the rediscovery of civic sense, and educating and inspiring future generations.

A community that, over time, with the “beauty of doing” has involved 15 cities, both Tuscan and Italian, carrying out interventions alongside administrations and companies.
